Everyone walks over the Brooklyn bridge as it is the most beautiful bridge in the city. However if you walk over the Manhattan bridge your view is the Brooklyn Bridge and it is less crowded.

Everyone says "walk the Brooklyn Bridge", but the real views are from a well-kept secret, the Manhattan Bridge. With views of the Brooklyn, and FAR fewer tourists, this is a great view of the skyline!

The big arch is on Canal and Bowery. Be careful because New Yorkers drive aggressively and may not stop in time if you are in the middle of the road. Do not use the bicycle path! Cross the street and use the pedestrian path!
