Within walking distance directions: Strawberry lane - left on Starr St The abandoned baseball field to the right, immediate right on the perimeter of the field will lead you straight to the trailhead. Not a loop trail.

This 3 mile out and back trail takes you through old-growth forest. Slightly steep in some spots, but our preschoolers were able to hike about half of it before getting tired and needing to turn back. Great way to burn off energy, rain or shine....
