Blind Pass Beach (also known as Middle Beach) has many of these same amenities and more, though it has no lifeguards are on duty. It’s nonetheless a great place for fishing and kayaking, or exploring the trails going in and out of the mangrove forest.

Located at the western tip of Sanibel Island along the channel between Sanibel and Captiva Island, Blind Pass Beach has strong currents and is NOT SAFE FOR SWIMMING. Those same currents, however, deposit large quantities of shells, making this small beach one of the most popular with shellers. There is parking, but no other amenities here.

Great place for Shelling and gorgeous sunsets. Plenty of local eateries around.
