Take pictures with the Iconic trees, visit the zoo, take the streetcar (named Desire?) and have a great time in this world famous park.

Audubon Park and the surrounding area are lovely to visit. A perfect place to take your muffaletta and have lunch. Nearby are the campuses of both Loyola and Tulane Universities, each of which has a beautiful campus as well. The zoo at the park is a treat for young ones. If you walk all the way around the zoo to the back side, you can see several of the exhibits through the fences from the park. It's always fun to see the giraffe's heads poking out as you walk through the park.

The expansive park is symbolic of Louisiana landscape - with bayous and moss-lined ancient oaks. A favorite outdoor space for walkers, runners, rollerskaters and families.
