Ryan, Denise, Ivy and the 4 cats are absolutely fantastic people (and animals) with a lovely, spacious, well equipped, very clean and welcoming house.

I spent a fantastic month in Madison largely in part to their kindness, hospitality, generosity and friendliness. Thank you so much.

The private basement area that is rented is very large, very well furnished, with a private toilet and two very spacious rooms. Also, they have TV equipment, a desktop computer and printer, in case you need to use any of these equipment.

The bedroom I used during my stay was very clean, very comfortable bed (much better than European standards!) large, well-lit and ventilated.

The place is well connected to downtown through the 13 route bus (15 mins walk to the bus stop) in a very nice neighborhood with stunning views to the lake. I had no problem whatsoever reaching the University (my destination) from there nor coming back, even if late.

Ryan and Denise were also very kind to let me use their nice and well equipped kitchen, and it was a pleasure sharing some meals with them as well. Thank you for the BBQ day and the Tex-Mex :)

In a nutshell: when it comes to renting a room (you get much more than that here, trust me) this place is outstanding. It has certainly been my best experience when doing short term rentals (I have done it in several different countries across Europe) and I very much look forward to having another chance to visit Madison to stay with them again.

We loved staying with Ryan, Denise, Ivy and that cats! Their home was welcoming and comfortable and we really felt at home there. The room and downstairs area are perfect and you have plenty of space. Ryan, Denise and Ivy are all lovely people and are all so welcoming. We loved talking with them and greatly appreciate all the help and information they gave us. We also loved the four cats who are all very friendly and lovable. We would definitely stay with Denise, Ryan and Ivy again. Thank you all again for everything!

We had an awesome time staying with Ryan, Denise and Ivy. The house was beautiful and the room was very comfy. Ryan and Denise were very welcoming and helpful with anything we needed.
