Airbnb Voyager Graduate Travel Credit Program Terms

The Airbnb Voyager Graduate Travel Credit Program (the “Program”) is provided by Airbnb to eligible Voyager Scholars in support of the Voyager Scholarship. To be eligible for the Program, you must be a graduate of the Voyager Scholarship program and be in good standing with the Obama Leadership Network and the Obama Foundation. You must also have an active Airbnb account in good standing.

Initial Graduate Credit Issuance. Eligible Voyagers will receive up to USD $2,000 in Airbnb Credit in their Airbnb account after Airbnb receives confirmation from the Obama Foundation that the eligible Voyager has completed all Voyager Scholarship Program requirements, including graduation from their undergraduate institution and timely submission of the Voyager Scholarship Impact Form (the “Initial Graduate Credit Issuance”). Credits will expire 365 days after they are issued, on the expiration date provided at time of issuance or as otherwise communicated by Airbnb. Voyagers must maintain active Airbnb accounts in good standing to receive and use Credit. Voyagers must also be in good standing with the Obama Leadership Network and the Obama Foundation. Credits cannot be used after their expiration date, and Credit expiration dates cannot be extended.

Subsequent Graduate Credit Issuances. Following the Initial Graduate Credit Issuance, each eligible Voyager will receive up to USD $2,000 in Airbnb Credit annually for nine (9) consecutive years (the “Subsequent Graduate Credit Issuances”). The Initial Graduate Credit Issuance and Subsequent Graduate Credit Issuances total up to USD $20,000 per Voyager. Subsequent Graduate Credit Issuances will occur in or about July of each year, subject to change at Airbnb’s sole discretion, beginning the first July following the Voyager’s Initial Credit Issuance. Credits will expire 365 days after they are issued, on the expiration date provided at time of issuance or as otherwise communicated by Airbnb. Voyagers must maintain active Airbnb accounts in good standing to receive and use Credit. Voyagers must also be in good standing with the Obama Leadership Network and the Obama Foundation. Credits cannot be used after their expiration date, and Credit expiration dates cannot be extended.

Credit may be applied towards stays on the Airbnb platform. Credit is promotional credit that expires on the date provided at the time of issuance or as otherwise communicated by Airbnb. Credit may be applied towards the booking of eligible offerings on the Airbnb Platform. Credit is not redeemable for cash or Airbnb gift cards, cannot be applied toward previous purchases, and cannot be transferred or combined with other Airbnb offers, coupons, or discounts. If you cancel or alter a reservation prior to the Credit expiration date, any amounts due to be refunded to you will be refunded to your account as Credits, and can be used up to the original expiration date.

In using the Credit, you must comply with any rules your Airbnb Host(s) have, including Hosts’ House Rules and Cancellation Policies. Use of the Credit is subject to the Airbnb Terms of Service (including the Community Disturbance Policy), the Airbnb Nondiscrimination Policy, and all other relevant Airbnb terms and policies, including the Credit Terms and Conditions, all as may be updated from time to time. If you violate any of these terms or policies, this Program offer will be invalid. Airbnb reserves the right to any remedy, including voiding the Credits and/or suspending your Airbnb account, in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or violation of Airbnb policies.

As part of the Program, Airbnb may share information about you and your Airbnb bookings with the Obama Foundation, including but not limited to the dates and location (e.g., city, state, country) of your stay(s), number of guests, and the payment type used to make the reservation. Airbnb and the Obama Foundation may exchange information about Voyagers, such as confirmation of your status and other information if necessary to address or help resolve issues that may arise in connection with your stay, as may be necessary for the successful administration of the Voyager Scholarship or Program. Finally, to help foster connection and belonging, Airbnb may inform your Host(s) of your status as a Voyager, if Airbnb believes that doing so will support the goals of the Program. In using the Credit, you must act in accordance with your Obama Foundation Voyager Scholarship Participation Agreement and all other Obama Foundation policies and/or protocols applicable to you. Failure to do so will constitute a violation of these terms, and Airbnb reserves the right to any remedy, including voiding the Credits, in cases of violation of your Participation Agreement and/or Foundation policies.

Changes and Modifications to Terms. We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Airbnb.com website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Use of Credit after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
