Go for a hike on our local trails, explore the many breweries in Bellingham, visit the beach in Birch Bay, bike the county roads, or enjoy a scenic drive on the Mt. Baker Highway. Then come back to a unique, cozy TINY HOUSE. Roast marshmallows around the campfire, snuggle up and watch a movie on Netflix, and relax with a cup of coffee on the front porch in the morning. Refresh, relax, and find joy!

Walk, bike, paddle, drop anchor, or roll up at our private beach, no bank waterfront house. Our house includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, 2 decks....and a privately owned beach with spectacular views of Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters. The cabin has Wi-Fi internet access. NO PETS! Please be aware that during 2 weeks between April 26 - May 11, the car ferry is in dry-dock, so there is NO CAR ACCESS on/off the island. Foot Ferry Only

Unique and tranquil getaway. The Walnut hut is a cozy rustic cabin on our 9 acre permaculture biodynamic farm. Peaceful country setting. We are about 6 miles from Bellingham, Lynden and Ferndale, and 17 miles from the Canadian border. Seasonal Farmstand. Farm tours available by appointment. Shared bathroom with shower in a nearby building, and an outdoor kitchen usually available April thru October.
