Inside, each tent features a memory foam queen bed, wood-burning stove, private pump sink, kitchenette, battery-powered lanterns, and charging stations. Outside, enjoy your own fire pit, two Adirondack chairs, and a large cooler—everything you need to relax, recharge, and feel right at home in nature. Reconnect with nature and escape the heat on our 28 acre filbert orchard, better known as hazelnuts. On hot summer days you’ll find the temperature under the orchard canopy almost 10 degrees cooler at the heat of the day. Located about an hour from Portland at Mount Hood’s base, Zigzag Mountain Farm offers 50 acres of meadows and forest, bordering a national forest. This site is home to the awesome 20-foot diameter Stargazer tent (new one will be put up for the 2026 season), where you can see the night sky from your bed. :) It also has a platform with a canopy for shade and a picnic table nearby. This tent can fit up to 5 guests. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE FURNITURE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE TENT (THIS INCLUDES PICNIC TABLES)- DOING SO CAUSES DAMAGE- YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT- THANK YOU
