We are six miles from the attractions of "Viroqua hip" yet nestled in the plain and slow of the Amish with roadside stands cascading produce and pie!

Driftless Region Cabin/ Stream and Sauna

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Located at the end of a quiet, paved country road, The Garden Cottage is just six miles west of Viroqua, Wisconsin. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, all on one level, including a king-sized bed, nice kitchen, gas grill, large bathroom, walk-in tile shower, a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, Roku, movies, good cell phone reception and high-speed fiber optic internet. All linens, soaps, coffee, tea, and kitchen utensils are provided. The songbirds and views are amazing.

A hiker's paradise you can also enjoy fresh baked goods from our bakery May through October, or pre order year round. Grapevine Log Cabins, based in Sparta WI, offers pet friendly cabin rentals on a family dairy farm. Amenities and activities include: a walking trail, bike trail, cows in pasture, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, grills outside (there is no cooking in the cabins), Air Conditioning, Heat and firewood is supplied. Nearby activities include: canoeing, fishing, 4 wheeling, antiquing, and superb scenic sites. Pet Policy: Pets may stay with you for an extra $25 per pet/night.

Bright airy 2 bedroom apartment - Yellow Door

Second floor apartment remodeled in 2019, wood floors, ceiling fans in every room. Great light with country feel right in Viroqua. Private outdoor entrance with deck. Keyless entry. Fully stocked kitchen. This is a wonderful place to get away and is available for longer stays. Pets are allowed but we do like to know about them. Wood floors do squeak but noise does not transfer downstairs as we have double insulated between apartments.
