Country cottage in the northwest of S.Miguel, with views to the ocean, the mountains and the fields. An option for those who want to explore the main attractions of the western part of the island, but wish to stay off the beaten track. PLEASE NOTE THERE`S A CAT living in the cottage (she's an INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT) and it might not be suitable for those who are allergic or don't like cats. The cottage is relatively secluded in a rural environment with farms, animals and all that comes with it.

Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. Fica no centro da Ilha, perto da via rápida, ideal como ponto de partida para longos passeios de carro ou a pé. Existem várias praias de areia em redor, uma cascata e uma piscina natural a 5 minutos a pé e um trilho pedestre com uma paisagem deslumbrante. Sítio tranquilo, no meio da natureza, sem ruído de carros. Totalmente relaxante e revigorante!
