Once here there is no need to drive as all the shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, cinema and beach are on your doorstep. Several large supermarkets and Westwood Cross Shopping Center ten minutes drive away. Light and airy in the summer, warm and cosy in the winter. Unforgettable view all year around!

Perfectly located right on the beach yet in the heart of Broadstairs, this ground floor flat is in the historic 'Eagle House', named after the French Eagle Standard captured in the Battle of Waterloo. It is comfortably but stylishly furnished with mid-century vintage pieces and original artworks by local artists; enjoy a morning coffee on the sunny patio before stepping through the secret beach gate onto the golden sands of Viking Bay. Note there is no sea view from this apartment.

The train station is a 5 minute walk and we have a taxi rank and a Coop supermarket at the end of the street.

The apartment is quiet and comfortable, and has step-free access. Our private off-street parking is a 5-minute walk away. This home is much loved, as reflected in our many 5-star reviews. Guests must be over 25 years old. No children are allowed in the apartment. No smoking or vaping. No pets.

The apartment is decorated to a very high standard, with a high specification kitchen and bathroom with large walk in shower. The lounge directly overlooks Viking Bay, with fabulous views of the seafront and is close to the town centre and easily walkable from the station. There is a wood burning stove for those chilly evenings or cosy winter breaks. We have one large double bedroom, and a double-sized sofa bed so the apartment is comfortable for 2-4 people.

It's a 20 minute walk to the centre of Broadstairs to enjoy the many pubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as some interesting shops and a lovely cinema. For some relaxing beach time head to Viking or Stone Bay. Margate and Ramsgate are a short distance away. A perfect base to explore the Thanet coast!

The regular loop bus service can take you to Ramsgate Harbour, Margate (Turner Museum) and Westwood.
