This jewel of an island is located a quick 20 minute ferry boat ride from Seattle but is a paradise getaway from the bustle of life. The house, comfortable but elegant, has a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the Puget Sound and a private deck where you can sit back and watch the sun rise or set. Please Note: Because of Covid-19, we stipulate one day between the departure of a guest and the arrival of the next guest to allow our housecleaner adequate time to safely clean the house.

KVI Beach Bungalow

Our bungalow is located in the Chautauqua beach community. It is the perfect location to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. While it is not a waterfront property, the beach, known as KVI beach, is a stone's throw away. Central to the interior of the open beamed bungalow is a stone faced Envirotech masonry fireplace. Surrounding the masonry are the living room, office, dining area, kitchen and bedroom. Appliances are Fischer Paykel--propane cooktop & electric oven.

Escape to the cozy cottage in the forest of big trees. Ecologically built, a healthy environment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Large picture windows make you feel like you are part of the forest. Enjoy visiting the Norwegian town of Poulsbo, yet Seattle is not far away. Nestled above the water on a high bluff, the view literally takes your breath away; Puget Sound, Cascade mountains and sunrises that astound. It may be hard to believe an island paradise is so close to two major cities, but time seems to have stopped on Vashon. It's a magical place; come visit and let the spell work on you!

* The cabin is close to the park, hiking trails, boat launch boat and bike rentals. You’ll love my place because of the views, being right on the private beach and the quiet peninsula. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and families. No need to rent kayaks. I have several, a rowboat and paddle board. * I charge a $70 pet fee. Please check "Additional Rules"
