Hello! We're Em and James! We live on the Chavenage Estate which is home to four generations of James’s family. We wanted to share our space, and our love of the outdoors with you here in the beautiful South Cotswolds. The Grist Mill is an early 18th-century watermill which sleeps up to 8 in four double bedrooms. This listed Grade 2 landmark building has been restored as a gem of a holiday home, with contemporary comfort and style, surmounted by lantern and cupola. Enjoy open plan living in traditional style on the ground floor, and as you head up through the house you'll find cosy bedrooms and old machinery still in place, a relic of times past. Ideal for dogs to exercise. It is close to stunning Cotswold way walks and great pubs and is well located for visits to many cotswold attractions. It has strong wifi also making it a tranquil place to work from home.

This property offers a peaceful and relaxing holiday. we have a local shop in the village run by local volunteers offering a good friendly service with an array of local produce. Next to the shop is the village recreation ground with a designated play area suitable for a game of football or even a picnic. The local Old Fox pub and restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the cottage , a very popular place to eat and it would be advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Characterful barn conversion set on our family run farm. Fantastic views, ample sized garden and living space for a perfect rural retreat whatever the weather. Close links to the Cotswold way, pubs and shops within walking distance. Parking for several cars. The barn was once used as the dye house for the working cloth mill in the 1800's, however during the war the dye house was repurposed as a cowshed and now recently converted into a home.
