It's adjacent to a city bike trail that links to the Pumpkinvine nature/bike trail. It's close to a train crossing (with whistle) and a busy street.

Houses are very old and some are still in rough shape. It is often quiet but with unpredictable intermittent urban sounds: car stereo music, people socializing outdoors, sirens from the nearby hospital and fire station, children playing, nearby traffic.
