Its only a few minutes away from the village and amenities, which include a delicatessen, bakery, fish & chips shop, butchers and general store. Within the local area there are a wealth of excellent restaurants and pubs.

Butterchurn is located on our working farm, not far from beautiful beaches Rock, Daymer and Polzeath. Butterchurn is a fully equipped cottage, open plan living downstairs with 1 bedroom that has a double and single bed also a cot available, perfect for couples, friends and young families, a shower en-suite upstairs and a walk in wet room downstairs. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. The Mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.
