This loft is situated on the north side of the town square in Newton, IL in one of Jasper County's oldest buildings. Welcome to the Craftsman Bungalow Guest House. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. It is a 1930's Sears Craftsman home located near downtown Greenup, about 1 mile from Rt 70. Greenup, known as the Village of the Porches between Interstate 70, IL RT 40 and IL RT 130, with over 1500 residents. Our Main Street (Cumberland St/Il Rt 121) is also part of the National Road, attractive old architecture, beautiful overhanging porches leading to our Covered Bridge

Beds/NO LINENS Showers/ NO TOWELS Kitchen/sink mini fridge no stove outside grill, fire pit, and cast iron provided. Dishware, silverware, and cooking utensils provided. Things you will need to bring: Linens, pillows, towels, dish rags and personal hygiene items. We will provide enough trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap to get you started after that its renters responsibility. We have state certified kilm dried firewood for sale $6 bundle. Coffee Pot take both grounds and k-cups. 4 lawn chairs.

The Blue Maiden - built in 1880

This unique place has a style all its own. Recently updated, the Blue Maiden was built in 1880 as a home to the servants who worked in the mansions prevalent in Farrington's Grove. She is 1.4 miles from downtown and ISU campus, between two hospitals, and convenient to St. Mary of the Woods College, IVY Tech and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. She is close to I-70, one block from US 41, and maintains many of her original Victorian charms. She is less than 5 miles from the new casino!

If you time your stay right you could join in goat yoga or another farm event! This barn is located just off I-70 & a short drive to several areas colleges, the casino, & entertainment!
