This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. Our mission is to create an atmosphere of tranquility, calmness and peace. We offer mother nature outside your door with easy access to all the activities you desire.

Surrounded by gardens and not far from downhill skiing and hiking options, swimming, sailing, dining and Lake Champlain.

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. Our beautifully renovated guest house is thoughtfully set up for you and your friends to take advantage of the best Vermont and our amazing town has to offer. Located in the center of Richmond, Vermont you are literally footsteps or a short peddle away from restaurants, breweries, trails, swimming holes, and more. Richmond's mountain bike trail system can be accessed out your door. Five of Vermont's best ski resorts are within 45 minutes. Burlington is only a 15 minute drive. Send It!!!!

Despite being removed from the hustle and bustle of city life, The Spring Hill House is still centrally located, providing easy access to some of Vermont's most popular destinations. Please note: We have a firm no kids policy due to the open loft and stairs.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets from your rocking chair on the cabin's wonderful porch. There is a large, well equipped kitchen, open space floor plan, new shower unit and plenty of closet space in the bedroom. Easy access to VAST snowmobile trails, within an hour's drive to 3 ski areas (Stowe, Smuggler's Notch and Jay Peak), X-Country skiing right outside the door or in Craftsbury or Stowe. Elmore State Park is 3 miles away. Hiking trails and kayaking abound!

Forest Hideaway

Our single story 2 bedroom 1 bath home is located within 30 minutes of Mad River Glen and Sugarbush ski areas and the quaint towns of Bristol, Richmond and Waitsfield. Drive another 15 minutes to Burlington or the Bolton Valley Ski Area. Hiking, biking and cross country skiing trails nearby, or just sit on the porch and enjoy the sounds of the nearby river. Snow tires and front wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles necessary during the winter months.

The Black Barn in a Mountain Hollow

The Ell at Prison Hollow Homestead is a lovingly renovated 1800's barn at the intersection of forest, field, and mountain. This quiet getaway offers sweeping easterly views and easy access to outdoor adventures including hiking, skiing, and fishing. Enjoy your morning coffee as the sun rises over the Green Mountains and relax in front of the fireplace at day's end. Conveniently located 35 minutes from Burlington and 30 minutes from Middlebury.
