Tau Studio - Boutique Accommodation

Tau Studio is a boutique style chalet with a modern stylish decor and a hint of luxury. Everything is provided including top quality linen. It is very spacious but also has a lovely cosy, warm feel. Perfect for couples. It is based in the lovely quiet village of Rangataua which is only a 5-minute drive to Ohakune township where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. The winter offers fantastic skiing and snowboarding, and summer offers lots of walks, mountain biking and fishing.

The Treehouse is set in grounds of our Villa in Raetihi in the Ruapehu region, it sits on stilts amongst the trees, with a walk way for ease of access. A warm well insulated room with comfortable king size bed, around the deck to the shower, toilet and out door bath. Enjoy a wonderful relax in the bath with bubbles and a choice of fairy lights or the vastness of a starlit sky. All linen provided. Gas hot water. All water is town supply. Kowhai Tiny home is a space to relax, get away from the hustle and bustle and wind down. The open plan living allows for intimate interaction while the French doors allow you to move into a cozy outdoor experience.

The Mountain Chalet, a short stroll to town centre

Located close to bike trails and a mere 20mins from Turoa ski field and 40mins to Whakapapa ski field, this cosy chalet has everything you need for an epic summer or winter getaway. The new hot water system provides a hot and strong pressured shower. Not only will you be staying close to fantastic restaurants and cafes, but you’re also close to the supermarket, ski gear, shuttle and bike hire. Kosbys Cottage, Tongariro

Kosbys Cottage, Tongariro provides excellent value for money, offering ample space for families (children over 2 years old) or small groups of friends. A snug retreat during winter, thanks to a very efficient wood-burner (there is no heat pump). The spacious couch is perfect for unwinding, while the well-equipped kitchen, resembling that of a caterer’s, includes an espresso machine and opens out onto a charming patio area with a barbecue, herb garden, and stunning vistas.

Tongariro Alpine Villa - with hot tub

This new home is the ideal place to relax after a day skiing, hiking or biking. There are 2 living areas that share a double sided gas fire. Perfect for apres ski or a romantic evening in. Enjoy the sunset from the front deck or the fully fenced outdoor area with BBQ, seating and loungers. Relax and enjoy the view of the mountain from the hot tub. The Mangawhero River and cycle way are a 1 minute walk.

KUBO : FantailSuite [Self-Contained Hilltop Haven]

Gazing over the Ruapehu plateau, KUBO is our little house on a hill with the private Fantail Suite — a tranquil haven where time slows, and nature feels close. Enjoy coffee in the lounge at sunrise, watch golden sunsets from the deck, or stargaze under clear mountain skies. Between Tongariro and Whanganui National Parks, it’s close to ski fields, hiking, and biking trails. NO CLEANING FEE.
