Hidden Gem on Traffic Free Lane in Town Centre

This lovely and characterful two-bedroom,apartment is located on a historic pedestrian lane right in the centre of Penrith, where it is surrounded by shops, restaurants, pubs, cafés and places of interest. It is on the first and second floors of a 250 year old building and has a double bedroom, a single bedroom, an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room, and a small private-use courtyard. It has a unique charm with wood beams and wonky walls, ceilings and floors, all of which add to its character.

Nord Vue Barn is conveniently situated in the Lakeland village of Penruddock, which benefits from very easy access to the M6. The property was an 18th Century barn which the owners converted to an extremely spacious holiday cottage, with the best of traditional and modern features. It is ideally situated for fell walking, running, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding and other mountain and lake activities. Bright and cheerful ensuite studio flat on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Great views of Helvellyn and High Street. Lake District hikes, cycling or sightseeing within a few minutes. There is a small well equipped kitchen with hob, fridge and microwave for preparing light meals. The local pub is a 10 minute walk and serves excellent food with other good food pubs just down the road. Guests are welcome to share use of our BBQ corner with fabulous view of the mountains.

Rural 3-bedroom cottage in quiet village

Our mid-terraced cottage sleeps up to five guests in its three well-presented bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The heart of the home is its living room, complete with a multi-fuel stove which brings some extra cosiness in the colder months, or somewhere to dry your boots after a day in the fells. We have free parking for two cars on the driveway outside the house, and around the back is a shared garden with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining when the sun is shining!

Barco House apartment is a purpose built self contained apartment completed in 2022 and set in the grounds of Barco House a lovely Victorian family home. The property offers large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, shower room with underfloor heating and a double bedroom with a king size bed overlooking the garden. We offer secure storage for any sports equipment you have and ample off road parking.

The house is located in the village of Stainton which is located 5 mins from the edge of the Lake District. Only 5 minutes from Penrith, 10 minutes from Ullswater and 20 minutes from Keswick!
