Tucked down a little cobbled street in the town centre, it’s a small but perfectly formed cottage ideal for a couple or a young family. There’s a secret door leading to the second bedroom, where you’ll even get a glimpse of Chepstow Castle from the window. It’s an ideal base for weddings at St Tewdrics (we’ve even hosted the bride and groom!) or for walking and cycling in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.

Despite being only 20 minutes drive from the Severn Bridge it feels beautifully remote and secluded, with wild countryside on the doorstep. Some days not a single car will pass the house, although likely a few horses, and you may share your morning cup of tea with wild rabbits right outside the windows. Sleeps up to 5, with flexible sleeping options for different combinations of family and friends.

With separate access & pretty private garden area, it consists of a double bedroom with ensuite shower, spacious open plan kitchen/living room & separate utility area with washing machine. Additionally, there is an outside table and chairs for alfresco dining. Free wifi and gas central heating ensures guests' comfort and convenience. The property is not suitable for small children, as there is a deep pond.

Located in the village of Caerwent just 6 miles from the M48 Severn Bridge and the M4 Prince of Wales bridge. Caerwent village has lots to offer, including Roman ruins, Post Office, and a traditional pub serving meals.

If you're wanting to escape the hustle and bustle, it's a perfect opportunity to relax and restore. We built it ourselves, ensuring it's unique and cosy stay. The double bed sleeps two comfortably. You are 5 minutes from the M4 and only a short walk to the local pubs. Ps. We are a full time working farm so you will be hearing our animals and tractors during your stay.
