Buffalo Springs Distilling Company

It’s recently been brought to our attention about Airbnb scams! Please reserve with us or someone else that has a history! The Bourbon Trail The Buffalo Springs Distilling Company got it's start in 1868. It closed and it's warehouses were emptied out by the 1970's. This building is one of the last structures left on the site. This historic building was the main office and gatehouse for visitors to the distillery, so we can offer one Queen sized bedroom due to the size of the structure.

No neighbors! It’s not a big or fancy place but it’s clean, simple, and relaxing. The stars are brightest in the country when enjoying the fire pit. Our two story cabin has 1BR with two double beds, full kitchen, full bathroom, recliners, and grills. It's perfect for couples, friends, or small families. The Ark Encounter, Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland, and several distilleries are all within an hour of the cabin. This is a great place to relax between visits to these attractions.

Located about 20 minutes from the Ark Encounter, our Gopher Wood Getaway cabin offers a rustic and picturesque place for families to stay near the Ark. Enjoy 500 sq ft of living space inside the cabin that includes a fully equipped kitchen, a bunk room and full bathroom. Our cabin has heating, AC and electric over looking 44 acres of Kentucky Bluegrass. NOTE: Our cabins are truly a GETAWAY as we do NOT have any wi-fi or TV in them. If you are looking to experience lake life, look no further! Our Guest House sits on the beautiful 140 acre Bullock Pen Lake. It's a great place to relax, or enjoy kayaking, paddle boating, paddle boarding and fishing. We have one of the best views of the lake. The Guest House is fully renovated and decorated with relaxation in mind. It has everything you would need for your stay. After all, the lake is where your worries fade and memories are made! The Cute Little House Near The Ark Encounter

The "Little House" is a cute 1 bedroom house located on our farm in a beautiful country setting with 6 acres of outdoor space for relaxing. It is separate from our home and is all yours. It is conveniently located only 8 miles from the Ark Encounter and you only need to make one turn to get there. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, a horse, and 11 goats. We also have a 1/2 mile nature trail to explore with a scavenger hunt, and a campfire spot with free firewood.
