Welcome to Northam Nook, my beautiful cottage set in the centre of the coastal village of Northam. A mile from Westward Ho! with sandy beach. Close to the quaint fishing village of Appledore, with it’s bustling quayside and ferry across to Instow. A 10 minute walk to the coast path. The cottage is ideal for couples, families and friends any time of the year. Northam with it’s shops, fish & chips, Chinese take away, pubs and restaurants, is a great base to explore the wonderful North Devon Coast.

Cabin on the Lake

Private cabin sitting on an island over its own lake the ideal place to stay amongst nature and unwind in 10 acres. Furniture built from locally sourced trees for a beautifully crafted, rustic finish. Swing in a hammock or egg chair and indulge in a bit of star gazing. Watch the surrounding wildlife by the log burner or gather by the fire pit. Head ito Exmoor or Dartmoor & enjoy the many walks/bike rides; surf or explore the beaches. Help feed the animals and relax, recharge & re-connect!

Situated in the lovely peaceful village of Northam our self-contained annexe is the perfect getaway to recharge and relax, whilst also being a stone's throw from the coastline. This cosy and unique space has a bespoke wooden interior that many visitors have admired. It has it's own sleeping area (you can see the sea through the skylight when sat on the mezzanine bed), fully equipped kitchen, lounge area and bathroom. There is allocated parking space at the property for two cars if necessary.

A peaceful rural retreat near North Devon beaches

This 200 year old barn has been lovingly renovated to create a modern, open plan apartment that provides spacious accommodation for two. Its whitewashed stone walls and bare timbers retain the charm of the original building and two full length windows open onto a private patio and garden and flood the apartment with sunlight. Furnished with a mixture of the modern and the vintage, the walls are hung with original artworks and these elements combine to create a unique and beautiful retreat.

The accommodation can be found nestled in the garden of the old village school with lovely views of the river and woods beyond. A short 5 minute drive away, or 20 minute level walk, is the quaint fishing village of Appledore and in the opposite direction, is the holiday village of Westward Ho!, both boasting local shops, cafes and a host of pubs and restaurants.

The Studio

Our self contained studio is situated in the vibrant village of Braunton, a 15 minute walk from the centre and a 5 minute drive to Saunton Sands. An ideal getaway from the stresses of city living. The area is renowned for its beaches, Saunton, Croyde & Woolacombe. The Studio backs onto a lane leading to walks along footpaths and country lanes. Ideally situated for walking, cycling, surfing etc. Or just sit, chill & enjoy the south facing deck.
