A quiet, cosy, two bedroom, centrally heated unit. Enjoy the large geothermal hot pool. A full sized pool table, smart tv, wifi. A small kitchenette to prepare light meals and snacks, plus a small, private cottage garden to enjoy native birds and trees. Taupo is 50 minutes drive from our home. We are in easy reach of some of NZ's' most stunning hikes. An Easy 35 minutes to Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing, plus local river walks, supermarket and eateries 10 mins. Vida is a fully refurbished, stand-alone house with modern furnishings and high-quality features. Located in central Turangi, tucked away in a quiet commercial area. It is fully fenced for your dog to join you. Two-minute drive to cafes, supermarket and town. There is ample room for your boat/jet ski if you're heading out fishing on the lake. Turangi is an adventurer's paradise year round and many complete the Tongarario Alpine Crossing as it’s about the closest accommodation you will find.

Lochwood Ski and Summer Cottage

Lochwood is a light, spacious and warm retreat. Scandi, homely decor. A home-away-from home with a well-equipped kitchen, espresso machine, and tea and coffee facilities. A reserve and playground are across the road with a tennis court and basketball hoop 2 minutes walk away. The Motuoapa Marina and Liquorice cafe are nearby. Excellent access to Lake Taupo, Tongariro crossing, Whakapapa skifield, Tongariro River track and bike tracks, the western bays, thermal pools and Lake Rotopounamu.

Located across the road from the world famous Tongariro River makes this the ideal location for outdoor adventures including fly-fishing, bike rides & skiing. In the winter relax by the fire, or when the weather is warmer, enjoy the spacious and private section for al fresco living - with decking at both the front and rear you can enjoy your morning coffee, and enjoy a game of Pétanque or Corn Hole.

Your perfect base for the Tongariro Crossing, Kōwhai Hideaway is in a convenient location near the Tongariro River. Double glazed and with upgraded insulation, Kōwhai Hideaway has a well equipped kitchenette, brand new air conditioning, comfortable beds and a pleasant garden outlook. Tranquility is supreme. There’s plenty of off street parking in this quiet street. Kōwhai Hideaway is a ground floor apartment underneath Piwakawaka Lodge. They can be rented together for large groups.

We would love to welcome you to our exceptional John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). John Scott is one of NZ’s premier architects and is renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the Air BnB community. A self contained wing of our home sits in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront :-)

"The End of the Road"

The bach is well equipped, but GUESTS MUST SUPPLY OWN LINEN (sheets, pillow slips & towels), and CLEAN it before leaving. It is a fisherman's bach at the end of a quiet street. Lake Taupo is a 10 minute walk and the Tauranga Taupo River nearby. We have plenty of duvets and blankets. NO WIFI. If you are unable to clean the house before you leave or supply your own linen it's better if you find a motel or hotel nearby. We keep the price lower by not having a cleaning fee.

Private spacious bedroom with patio and connecting private spa. Totally independent accommodation with no shared spaces. Great location for accessing Lake Taupo (5 minutes) walk including great marina and cafe. Turangi (10 minutes drive), World famous trout fishing in the Tongariro River. Ski fields, tramping and Tongariro Crossing are only 45 minutes away. Taupo is just over half an hour away to the North. Accommodation is situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac.
