The North Country Trail and the new 40-mile Dragon Trail are less than 15 minutes away for hiking and biking enthusiasts. Enjoy beautiful views and peaceful relaxation at the River Valley View cabin. Just 40 minutes from Grand Rapids and less than 10 minutes from downtown Newaygo. Spend a day on the sandy shores of the lake or close by tubing trips down the Muskegon River.

Welcome to our cottage! We are located directly on the Muskegon River in Newaygo Michigan. The Muskegon River is known for its great fishing. You can fish right out front of the cottage or bring your own river boat and keep it at our dock. Kayak and tube rentals are available in town. Enjoy the intimate feel of the cottage with cozy rooms and a fully stocked kitchen for you to enjoy eating in. Downtown Newaygo has many restaurants and shopping if you want to venture out.

Green Acres: Your Home Among the Trees

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).
