Alternatively surf at Sandend, follow the whisky trail, play golf on the stunning courses and fish locally. Immerse yourself in the many historical castles and ruins. Light the log burner, cook supper in the quirky kitchen and sleep peacefully in pure linen sheets. Hot water bottles provided!

Comfortable, dog-friendly steading conversion

Coshelly Steading is on the edge of Rothienorman, a village with a pub, a Chinese, an excellent Morrisons Daily shop and a Zero Waste shop, all about 10 minutes walk from the house. It is a newly converted steading, attached to our house and surrounded by fields. Plenty of parking, WiFi, TV etc. Dogs are welcome. There are mountains, the coast and many castles, all within easy driving distance and plenty of pleasant walks nearby. Free range eggs from our chickens, when they are in the mood.

This unique place has a style all its own. Dating from the 1750s Georgian property. Newly renovated and furnished. Vaulted ceiling in the living room and very stylish bathroom. Living room has LED mood lighting. Also there's a jukebox. The bedrooms can be 2 king sized beds or 1 king and 2 singles. Communal veranda on the first floor (shared with my other Airbnb). Wifi. Everything you can need for your stay. Very central location, with takeaways, restaurants and great local pub nearby.

The main hall has a wood burning stove in the seating area and a further lounge upstairs with views overlooking the garden .Outside there is a fenced garden with a barbecue , patio and wood burning hot tub for 8 with views of the surrounding countryside and Moray Firth. Cockmuircroft is set in farmland in rural Aberdeenshire 15 mins from the thriving town of Inverurie. Its elevated position offers unrivalled views of the five peaks of Bennachie and the ancient hill fort of Dunnydeer. The location is ideal for several local wedding venues : Logie House, Haddo House, Meldrum House, Pittodrie House, Lochter and more. The Moray Coast, golfing , walking , whisky tours , numerous castles and Royal Deeside are a pleasant drive away.

Forglen Estate-Forglen Lodge

The Lodge can sleep up to 6 people. It has a lovely Scottish heritage feel inside and lots of architectural character on the outside. The mantel for the open fire inside was made from elm wood grown on the estate and there is some history to be discovered about the external features . A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
