Conveniently located five minutes from Escanaba, you can relax in the hot tub, enjoy the fire pit, soak in the views of lake from the fenced in yard, or walk down to the lake with chairs and a fire pit waterside. The cottage is located with shared parking next door to a restaurant that we also own; the best wood fired pizza around! Beautiful cottage located on the end of the Garden Peninsula in the small town of Fairport; this property features spectacular waterfront views with access to a small marina and sand beach. Various wildlife commonly seen, to include bald eagles, deer, turkeys, ext. In addition, this property hosts spectacular fishing opportunities. Fishing from shore, large and small mouth bass, perch, and northern pike are abundant. Anglers can also catch salmon, lake trout, ext. from a fishing vessel.

It's a 4-acre property adjacent to the Hiawatha National Forest with a very diverse mature hardwood forest, a 0.5 acre planted prairie, a pond, woodland plant gardens, and butterfly/hummingbird gardens. The property includes a 0.3 mile long interpretive nature trail explaining the natural environment and history.

Our newly built apartment has two bedrooms, a living area, a dining area, and a kitchenette. Walk out to a balcony that overlooks a private yard surrounded by woods, grill a steak on the Weber grill, walk to the beach for an evening swim, and come back and cook marshmallows around a cozy campfire.

The Artist's Cottage is sacred to me, and I am so happy that I get to share it with you. This cottage is a space I go to be free of the daily hustle and bustle. Minimal cell service makes for a relaxing and quiet time to replenish the nervous system and get in tune with the land here. Don't worry, we have wifi. 😅
