WINDY HALL - Secluded luxury with stunning views

Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

The Hide Lodge is a stylish space, designed with relaxing and retreating in mind. It is cosy and warm with underfloor heating. The open plan lounge and living area has full width bi-fold doors, which allows the space to be fully opened up to feel like part of the woodland beyond. The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

Whether you are looking for a M6 stopover, visiting the city of Carlisle or exploring the lakes, The Hayloft is a delight. Situated in Warwick-on-Eden it is within five minutes of the M6 motorway. Dating back to 1842 it overlooks a cobbled courtyard & has been tastefully restored to retain the original beams.
