I was left enchanted by the rainforest and the tide pools just steps from the cabin door. I purchased the lot in 2017 and designed and built the house myself with the help of my close friend Mike. The design of the house is meant to bring the beauty of the rainforest inside while the sprawling living space is for families to spend time and make memories together.

The suite is on the top floor of a detached coach house, 90 feet from the beach via private pathway. The fully equipped kitchen will make you feel at home while preparing meals. There is a hot outdoor shower and a rack for your gear.

It is a quick bicycle ride to Chesterman Beach and a 7 minute drive into town. If you book a week stay or month stay, you receive 10% off!

Shipwreck Cottage at Chesterman Beach

The Shipwreck cottage is totally private and perfect for a romantic get away. It is not suitable for children under 5 years old. Chesterman Beach is only a 2 minutes walk via the beach path, you can fall asleep at the sound of the surf. We accept only one small non-shedding dog at the rate of 50 dollars and no pets in July and August.
