This home is also only an hour away from Crystal Mountain, making it an ideal home base for your skiing trip! After a day in the slopes, come back and enjoy the hot sauna.

Upstairs "English Cottage Studio, Private Bath"

Our English-style suite, upstairs over our detached garage, seems a world away. Pure cotton linens, down comforter, good lighting, cosy chairs, and tasteful decor make this an ideal place for retreat or business trip. Microwave, refer, coffee maker. Private bathroom with shower, no bathtub. The stairs to this room are quite steep and narrow. If you are at all challenged by stairs we would suggest you consider our other room, the Cabin Retreat, on the ground floor.

Join us in this quaint and quiet neighborhood. Our comfortable space was created with your relaxation in mind. Step back in time with us... the artwork has been salvaged from old theaters from yesteryear, with modern comforts mixed in. Enjoy classic movies or modern thrillers with your own personal mini theater; streaming services ready. Sit down, press play, bring down the house and stage lights, and relax. Our focus is on comfort, convenience, and experience.

Waterfront Cabana with fireplace and hot tub

At the waters edge of Lake Tapps you’ll find our cabana. It’s hidden and private within our residential property. You’ll have the entire waterfront to yourself. Fish off the dock, kayak, or just relax in seclusion. Outdoors you’ll find a large covered porch, fireplace and hot tub. Inside- a queen wall Bed, small sofa bed, fireplace, cable TV, Wifi. Neighbors are not close. Please be aware the shower is in an outdoor room accessed through the bathroom.

Welcome to Gilbert's Cottage! Be our guest for a night or stay longer if you want access to the greater PNW. Our home sits on an acre in the farmland of the Puyallup valley. Check out downtown Sumner or Puyallup main street for boutiques, cafés, pubs, and local breweries. Short drive to the waterfront, grocery stores, farm stands, Washington state fairgrounds and hospitals. Bring your pet to keep you company. Room to park a smaller trailer if needed.
