Mountain Walks Straight From The Doorstep

My cottage is a mid terraced small miners cottage, perched high above Blaenau FFestiniog with stunning views in a quiet residential area but only a few minutes walk from the town centre. You have access straight into the mountains. It is beautifully warm in the winter and in the summer catches the sun from dawn until dusk. Zip World, Bounce Below , the LLechwedd Slate Caverns and the FFestiniog Railway are all close by.

This is our family holiday cottage in Blaenau-Ffestiniog. Walking distance to Zip World, Bounce below and Llechwedd slate caverns. Blaenau-Ffestiniog is ideally located to explore Snowdonia National park. Approx. 10 miles to great beaches (Porthmadog, Harlech) and other picturesque towns such as Betws-y-Coed and Beddgelert. Catch the historic Ffestiniog railway to Porthmadog or explore Portmeirion village.

Cosy restored self-catering barn at Perthi with a log burner, retaining original 17th-century wooden beams and period character, with beautiful views across the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains. Set just above Beddgelert on a working mountain farm in a peaceful rural setting, only a 7-minute drive from the Rhyd Ddu Snowdon path, with walks available directly from the doorstep.
