The property is bounded on 3 sides by the Au Sable State Forest. Situated in a relatively remote portion of the lower peninsula, guests are virtually assured a tranquil stay. Clean cabin with UP NORTH log furniture nestled above the picturesque sunset side of beautiful BLACK LAKE! Black Lake is a 10,000 acre all sports lake. The cabin sits on a hill (not on the lake) about 35 ft from another home on 40 acres and has 105 ft of private lake frontage shared with my another unit. Wildlife along with flower gardens throughout the property. Black Mountain Recreational Area is 10 minutes away. Mackinaw, Petoskey, Ocqueoc Falls 45 minutes away. Restaurants 10 minutes away.

Enjoy beautiful lake front northern MI, close to many "Tip of the Mitt" towns, trails, activities while enjoying beautiful Burt Lake, including our sunsets. Our guest house is on the second floor of our detached garage. It is at the end of a quiet road and is located off I-75 (exit 310 and 313), 3 miles from town, but 30-40 minutes from many other towns. Kayaks, small grill, camp fires on windless nights. No pets. Close launches for boat launching. Space to park boat/trailer on land.
