Chicken Coop Guest House on Olympic Peninsula

Originally the cottage was a chicken coop on this 5 acre ranchette nestled in the small farming community of Happy Valley. As the valley became more residential the cottage has been nicely converted to a comfortable indoor/outdoor living space. Pasture and farm still abound and mix with wildlife and recreation. Olympic National Park and Forest just to the south. Strait of Juan de Fuca and Dungeness Recreation Area to the north. Pacific Ocean to the west and Hood Canal and Seattle to the east.

It also has a full kitchen, full-sized washer and dryer, and a living room that includes an air mattress sofa/sleeper. The Olympic Discovery trail runs very close by, making it easy to take a walk or bike ride. During the summer, feel free to pick a few raspberries, figs, peaches, apples, pears and even kiwis!

The Olympic National Park and the ferry to Victoria, BC is just a short drive away.

Very close to the Olympic Discovery Trails, Sequim Bay State Park and Marina, Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, Dungeness River Audubon Center and Railroad Bridge Park. The Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge and Deer Park are close enough for day trips and Neah Bay and the coast are approximately 2 hours away.
