My place is 10 minutes from downtown La Crosse, close to the airport, but you'll feel a world away. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet, but mostly THE VIEWS. All the modern conveniences of dishwasher, microwave, shower and stove/fridge, washer & dryer. You'll never see the same sunset! My place is good for two people or solo adventurers.Full list of amenities available, but worth noting here that coffee is NOT provided. There is a drip coffee maker, as well as a spot for kpods.

Lakeside Loft, Roof Deck + Sauna

Wanderloft, designed by architect David Salmela, combines modern Scandinavian design with the natural beauty of Wisconsin's Northwoods. Located on one of Vilas County's highest points, this cabin offers stunning 360-degree views from multiple levels, overlooking Manuel Lake and 9.4 acres of land. Beyond its striking design, Wanderloft is defined by its profound sense of peace and quiet - where natural beauty and thoughtful architecture create space for rest, creativity, inspiration, and renewal.

YurtCation

YurtCation is an off-grid getaway with lake frontage and nature trails. There is another yurt about 300ft up the same driveway. There are a total of two yurts and two homes that have access to the same 17 acre lake. Each yurt has their own queen-sized comfy bed, wood stove, Weber grill w/charcoal, fire pit, firewood, fresh water, canoe, and clean Porto Potty. The yurts are about 80 feet from the lake’s ordinary high water mark to comply with zoning. We are fully permitted and have many repeats.

Wooded CABIN-Sunset & Lake Views/Kayak to Tiki Bar

Slow down at Fraser Fir log cabin, built in 1958 on Kettle Moraine Lake. In the summer, enjoy quiet moments watching the sun set from the front porch, then relax by the fire pit under a sky full of stars. Fish from the dock, kayak around the lake, or bring your boat to soak up the sun. In the winter, grab your ice-skates or ice-fishing gear and head out on the lake. With countless trails nearby, the hiking options are limitless and beautiful in every season. Your next adventure awaits.

Dells Domes - Riverview Escape - Glamping Dome 4

Staying in a dome amidst nature is a unique experience. The circular structure offers an amazing view of the surroundings, with peaceful sounds of rustling leaves, chirping birds, and a flowing river below. The cozy dome has a queen size bed, night stands, a seating area, mini fridge, and a k-cup coffee maker & heater/ac. At night, the starry sky and nature's sounds lull you to sleep. Waking up, you feel refreshed, and the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views leave a lasting impression.

Driftless Region Cabin/ Stream and Sauna

Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Quiet Seclusion at Trade River Retreat Cabin

Remote, tranquil, quiet and exceedingly private getaway right on the banks of a protected river, only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities! Even the beautiful drive there is relaxing. The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only.
