Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. It is centred in the beautiful, ancient village of Winkleigh which is the heart of Devon, equidistant from both coasts and moors and allows guests to explore this fantastic area. Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.

Lakeside Lodge, Hot Tub, Dog Friendly, Fishing

'Iris Lodge' is one of four private lodges, situated on the 5.5 acre site of Venn Lakes, Winkleigh. Westerly-facing, guests can expect spectacular sunsets, water glistening and the surrounding, established trees and warm glows of the sun reflected in the lake. As day disappears, enjoy the magic of our dark sky area by gazing up at the stars from the comfort of your private hot tub, glass of bubbly in hand.
