There is a cafe and bar in town. Groceries and other necessities can be obtained in Jamestown or Carrington both about 40 mi.

Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge is just 5 miles down the road. Hunting dogs are allowed. Additional garage space is provided for hunters to clean game.
