Up ladder to loft bedroom with double floor mattress and fabulous views. Cottage 2 is your romantic bedroom with French doors opening onto deck with views. Bunk room off enclosed porch,2 bunk beds . Situated on the crest of the Coromandel ranges on the 309 road. Mahakirau Forest Estate comprises almost 600 ha of native forest. Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". A spacious house in a bush setting, sit back and relax, take a bush walk down to the stream on the property and star gaze at night.

Our Studio room opens onto a paved terrace with views over the ocean. The studio is well equipped with kitchenette, table & chairs, armchairs, separate shower & bathroom, separate toilet. There is a barbecue for cooking and an outside covered space. We supply a simple breakfast of muesli, yoghurt and milk. If you are dairy free and require something different please let me know. The pool and spa overlook the ocean and have amazing views.

Ocean Cliff Court - Stunning Ocean Views

Ocean Cliff Court overlooks the stunning Blackjack Reef which is 15 minutes’ drive north of Whitianga. This 2 bedroom house was completed in 2017 and can accommodate up to 6 adults - there are 2 Queen beds and a fold out couch. It has a large deck with outdoor furniture and sea views. Located on a beautiful 1 acre property above Kuaotunu Village which is only 3 minutes’ walk from the beach, local pizzeria, cafe and shop.

Self-contained apartment in a unique, artist-designed house: a beautiful studio with lovely new bathroom, situated in the hills above Kuaotunu, surrounded by NZ native forest. Enjoy sitting on the deck, under giant fern trees, listening to birdsong and the gurgling of the stream. If you're lucky you'll even hear our resident Kiwi calling!
