It is close to the historic town of Epworth and within walking distance of local pubs and takeaways. Yorkshire Wildlife Park is a short drive away; York and Lincoln are less than an hours drive.

Take a walk down Steep Hill and within 10/15 minutes, you'll be in the city centre. (Don't forget you have to come back up the hill!) Free on-street parking to the front of the property, well-equipped kitchen, snug lounge, bath with shower. King-size bed and single daybed. Small enclosed rear garden. Designated workspace by arrangement.

Village Escape

Our cosy little house is in the centre of the village of Messingham. There’s lots of pubs and eateries within walking distance. We have an Indian, Thai, Italian & dog friendly pubs with live music, hairdressers, beauty salons, a bakery & food shops. A short drive away there’s a Nature reserve, play barn, golf, tennis, fishing & a little zoo as well as Blyton ice cream & racetrack. A little stream with ducks is in the next village. We welcome families, couples, business people & contractor’s.

Feel right at home from the moment you step inside Minster Cottage. With Lincoln Cathedral only a short walk away, you’ll be in the ideal location for exploring the wealth of historic landmarks, eateries, bars and independent retail outlets that the uphill area of the city has to offer, as well as having the perfect base for exploring further afield. One parking permit is provided for the duration of your stay. Nearby availability is very good but, unfortunately, not guaranteed.

There is a single parking space on the drive for guests.
