It still retains many of the original features; a perfect retreat to enjoy a relaxing break away. Only 2 miles from Lincoln, with easy acess to the city. There is also safe, private parking on site. Within our village, there are 2 lovely pubs, one serving food, a fish & chip shop, Chinese takeaway and the Co-op store is within 2 minutes.

The Milking Parlour, a brick barn at Moorland Farm

The Milking Parlour is a brick built barn in a quiet, rural location. The city of Lincoln is a 20 minute drive away. This barn used to be part of a milking shed. It has a vaulted roof and there are two areas: a bedroom-studio and a shower-wet room. The kitchen has a small fridge-freezer, a small induction hob and a combination microwave-grill. The wet room has a walk-in shower, toilet, sink and mirror with light, de-mister and shave socket. Outside there is a patio area with table and chairs.

Via a picture window to the rear, you look out onto stunningly picturesque countryside as far as the eye can see, including an impressive view of the 'On Freedom's Wings' sculpture, and towards the front, the outlook is over our cottage-style garden with fruit trees and a generous lawn area. It is situated in a pretty and peaceful rural location, but is only 15 minutes by car from Lincoln Cathedral and Castle and 8 mins from the Lincoln Showground, so guests have all the convenience of being really close to attractions but with the advantage of a peaceful nights sleep.
