Ski in the winter, fish 3 types of trout, tubing & soak in our creek, swing over the creek and relax by the fire pit. Meticulously cared for, Gram’s green thumb offers very unique landscaping! No need to leave the property to enjoy fishing, picnic spots or a campfire! Located between Roan Mtn State Park and skiing on Beech and Sugar Mtn. Bristol Motor Speedway, Grandfather Mtn, Elk River and Linville Falls, Watauga Lake, Mtn Glen Golf Course, and the Appalachian Trail are all nearby!

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Dry Cabin w/ covered deck overlooking a rushing creek within 15-20 minutes of Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk & Blue Ridge Parkway. A great way to experience "glamping" where stunning nature meets modern luxuries. Located on 30 acres with the comforts of electricity, mini fridge, heat, WiFi, and cooking accommodations. Bathroom is only 30 yard walk. Sleeping space for 2 adults only. 1-2 small kids may be allowed with preapproval. AWD/4-wheel drive recommended December-March in case of snow.

The Trout House

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly water front river cottage (Approximately 1,700sf)! Bring your fishing pole and relax! We have Kayaks and life jackets available upon request at no charge (life jackets required!). Enjoy some time on the hammocks by the river or step into the hot tub on the deck over looking the river. Please note we do have a video camera overlooking the driveway as well as overlooking the stairway and river bank below the river cottage.
