When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. The windows face the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only May–>Sept). Wooden floors. Central heating. Krāģīši is a unique family house. Built from wood and straw bales, it surprises and greets visitors with its special countryside aura. Originally the house was built for school purposes. At present a family with four children has settled here and offers guests a separate apartment with a bedroom, small guestroom with kichenette and private bathroom on the first floor.

The apartment will surprise you with modern and interesting design elements. You will have free access to self-check in and in the courtyard of the building – parking. In order to be able to enjoy the evening in the apartments, we have also taken care of entertainment without leaving the apartment – TV and Internet, board games and books.
