A large living space is the heart of the home with a wood fire at one end, feather sofa, armchairs and a custom made window seat overlooking Great Oyster Bay. Both bedrooms have amazing views over the water & our intimate bath house with clawfoot bath & french doors is the perfect place to watch the sunset reflected over the Hazards

Minutes’ drive from Orford, and less than two hours’ drive to Freycinet National Park, with plenty of beautiful scenery and wineries along the way.

Tawny is a custom built Tiny House, whose name is inspired by the elusive Tawny Frogmouth who live in the area. With luxury bedding and facilities, an outdoor bath and stunning location overlooking Spring Bay, Tawny offers a tranquil, intimate space to relax and unwind from the everyday. A short drive to a choice of amazing beaches and short walks; Maria Island and local eateries. You can relax in the boat shed by day and in the evening, gaze at the stars by the warmth of the fire pit.

Rostrevor Pickers Cottage

Sandra & Ricky are pleased to be hosting Rostrevor Pickers Cottage located just 3 minutes from the Maria Island Ferry. Stroll around the historical Rostrevor farm which was once one of the largest orchards in the southern hemisphere and is now a family run fine wool and hereford cattle farm with many original buildings on site. This lovingly restored farm shed turned contemporary cottage is nestled in the shade of a centuries old oak tree, perfect for taking in the country quiet.

Beachfront Studio on Great Oyster Bay

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door in a new house, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

Victoria Cottage - Close to Maria Island Ferry

Victoria Cottage is your home away from home. Clean, warm and cosy ensuring a comfortable stay for one person, a couple or a group up to six. Enjoy a short stroll along Pelican Walk to the Town Centre, marina and fishing port, hotel, coffee shops, pharmacy, fish van, art gallery, opportunity shop, The Village Community and Arts Centre and much more. With every booking we offer a complementary bottle of Tasmanian wine, sparkling or juice . Blackshack Orford is a lovely modern and relaxing holiday home just one hours drive from Hobart. You instantly feel “at home” at the blackshack. Please Note: Our very last booking weekend will be the 5th June 2026 to allow us to prepare for the sale of our Airbnb/home. Hopefully we can sell as an ongoing business so that you can all still enjoy this amazing space

Once known as Millingtons House, Sunways is a light-filled 1925 home just steps from the river and a short stroll to the ocean beach. With two spacious queen bedrooms, a fresh bathroom featuring Salus botanicals, and a sunroom made for lazy afternoons, it’s a place to slow down. On arrival, enjoy Bellebonne sparkling rosé and Kenyak chocolates before unwinding into the rhythm of sea air and old-world charm. Pet-friendly stay — max 2 dogs welcome.

The Church at Orford

St Michael and All Angels Church has been given a new lease of life as The Church at Orford boutique accommodation. Lovingly converted, this beautiful building retains unique architectural features whilst including quality furnishing and modern amenities. Ideal for a romantic weekend getaway, a summer holiday or to use as a gateway to the beautiful East Coast or to visit Maria Island National Park.

Spring Beach Cottage

Private cottage 100 metres from the white sand of Spring Beach, on a large block in a bush setting with beautiful views of the beach, Maria Island and the Triabunna lighthouse. Birds are in abundance and there is also a resident echidna. There is a surcharge of $30 for one night only bookings. ALL PROFITS ARE DONATED TO CHARITY (tariffs less out of pocket expenses, see receipts in visitors' book)
