Family Beach Cottage

Third generation family cottage with beach, private hot tub on the deck and amazing views of Tomales Bay. The gravel frontage road leading from State Route 1 to the Beach Cottage was once part of the narrow gauge railroad that took vacationers, farm animals and lumber up and down the coast from 1871 to 1930. If you need more space, you can also book our Rustic Beach Cottage, which is directly next door and offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, as well as its own outdoor hot tub and fabulous bay view.

Our home is perched at the top of Inverness Ridge with a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean, Farallon Islands, and the Point Reyes National Seashore. Absolute peace, fresh air, and a five minute stroll from park trails. Quiet and crime free, the Artist Retreat is worlds apart from urban excitement. Guests are amazed by its beauty. Being at the top of a ridge, it is a 11/2 mile drive to get there. The road is quite steep with many turns. Free Level 2 charger which we encourage guests to use.

Our home is quiet, relaxing and a 10 minute walk to the beach. There is one bedroom (loft style) with a king size bed and a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed. The couch is a foldout. Bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Full kitchen with a well-stocked spice cabinet, dining room & large deck with Weber BBQ. There's a smart tv & sound bar, unlimited WiFi, a DVD player, board games & beach toys which you're welcome to use. Or you can just relax in the hammock & watch the clouds go by. No ocean view.

Eagle's Nest Treehouse Farm Stay is a tranquil, secluded, luxurious, romantic wilderness experience in a private forest on a 400 acre working ranch. Thirty feet above the forest floor you are nestled in a gorgeous, well-appointed suite of 1,000 year old polished redwood, with bathroom and amazing copper/glass forest-view shower. The pool is open during the summer months only (late May-end of September). The hot tub is on all year-round.
