Charming converted barn north of Rockford, Ill

We'll be delighted to welcome you to our converted barn. Most describe it as "charming." We are grateful for those comments, and we have tried to provide our guests with a safe, restful, and inviting environment. There are two bedrooms upstairs, and a TV room with 2 twin beds/daybeds downstairs. The galley kitchen has brand new appliances. The beds are outfitted with the most healthful, hygienic mattress pads and bedding we could find. The water is certified free of lead, nitrates, or bacteria.

Your stay will be in an entirely separate 1,800 square foot, contemporary, mid century addition to the original farmhouse with new kitchen and entry porch. The restored 200 year old barn now has new bathrooms and summer kitchen. Dahlia and Zinnia gardens surround house and barn.

Haney's Tavern (an INN) built from native stone, erected for Berry Haney in 1840, was a well-known Stagecoach Stop (on Stagecoach Road today) for weary travelers off the Military Trail. This unique historic property is beautifully situated at the Gateway to the Driftless Region and along the Cross Plains Segment of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. The serene Black Earth Creek, a Class 1 Trout Stream meanders through the acreage. Make memories at this unique and family-friendly place.

You won’t forget your stay in this beautiful converted Barn on 8 acres of land. Located right on the wine trail. We have plenty of space with wooded areas, magical trails and gardens throughout. We even have a solar lit campground called “The Chrysalis.” Two other homes occupy this space, but we are spread out allowing for plenty of privacy. Separate private parking area too. Driftless Barn Inn -Room 1. This 125 year old barn has been reimagined as a unique lodging. This main level space has it all, full kitchen, laundry, fireplace, deck and views for miles over Iowa's Driftless region. Additional rooms are available reserve for large groups. Please contact us to add up to 2 additional rooms. Known as "The Suite" this 1000 square foot space is a perennial favorite for families, anglers, and hunting groups. Formerly operated as OurTara Inn.

Cabin #1 on a century old family farm

The cabin is located on a private wooded hill top with great sunrise and sunset views. You can drive up and park next to the cabin. The cabin is very basic one room structure with a queen size bed, tables and chairs. Bathrooms, shower, furnished wifi loft, coffee, electrical outlets, and kitchen space, are located a short walk away inside the Events Barn shared space. No electricity at the cabin itself but it does have battery operated lights. No air conditioning.

The Barn House

A private country estate on 9 acres in beautiful rural Michigan featuring 5-bedrooms, 2 baths and a large kitchen/living area. This restored Dairy Barn with its original beams was converted into a wonderful residence in the early 1990’s. Cozy, tranquil, and spacious (4,000 square feet) would be a few words to best describe this home with its scenic walk out balcony overlooking a pond. The home owner currently resides in a private apartment in the lower level.

Barndominium: Goats, Hot Tub, Forest & River

The Cloverland Barndominium is a thoughtfully renovated 100-year-old barn sitting on 5+ private acres of forest to explore next to a river. You'll share the land with friendly goats that you can watch from right outside your window! Outside you'll enjoy walking the trails, feeding the animals, taking the canoe down the river, making a fire in the fire pit, and exploring the forest. Escape the busy world and reset!
