Burn Brae Sunset Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is the converted pickers quarters when the property was a stone fruit orchard in the past. Have recently planted feijoa orchard. A small and cozy space with spacious verandahs to the north and west. Situated on a quiet and private 100 acres. Abundant bird and wildlife. The cabin is self-catering. Breakfast is not provided altho’ tea and coffee making facilities and basic condiments are provided. The cabin is not suitable for children.

Recently renovated, the space is clean and fresh, with beautifully appointed interiors. Located behind the main house, you will have privacy but be able to access the outdoor spaces and take in the breathtaking views. Kristy's is the perfect base for busy outdoor hikers or those wanting a relaxing weekend away.

Warranfels Homestead

Warranfels Homestead is far enough out of Tenterfield to be peaceful and quiet, but is a convenient 10 minute drive away, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The house was built in 1910 and has been lovingly restored to it’s former glory. It is a grand house with country charm and plenty of room for the whole family. It is situated on 10 acres in the centre of an operating farm. There is 1km of dirt road after you turn off the main road. A 4wd is recommended in wet weather.

The front veranda and back deck will have you wanting to spend plenty of time outside enjoying the crisp air and starry skies. Located in a quiet part of town, you will get the country feel without the seclusion and are just a short walk from town.

We have 12 wineries within a couple of km’s that offer world class wines and Strange Bird varieties. Also, it is a short 5 min walk to the General Store & Bakery as well as the Ballandean Pub, a 10 min drive to Girraween National Park and 5 min drive to Storm King Dam.
