The truck home is fully stocked for a perfect getaway including a kitchen, bathroom, queen bed, couch sleeper, AC/heat, an outside gazebo, and WIFI for remote work. Enjoy fishing, boating, bird watching, evening fires, and nature at our peaceful water front home.

Harper's Haven is about 30 min from Baton Rouge & about 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Sleeps 6, offering a King size bed, & 2 Queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped including a Keurig. There is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer & utility sink. Enjoy grilling or relaxing on the patio, or fishing and kayaking in the pond.

Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking nearby. Watch for deer, wild turkeys, and excellent birdwatching. Perfect weekend getaway to destress and relax, enjoy an adventure or both!
