This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed and see the views that go on forever. A great little kitchen with new oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need if you want a "foodie" get away. We do not have a TV, but great WiFi. Great fishing right on your doorstep.

Excellent location, quick walk to Estuary with Marina, cafes/restaurants. Ocean beach is also 5 minutes walk via a cliff path. Tairua shops are a few minutes drive.

Plenty of areas to relax in if you’d like to settle into a book, or if you sway more to the adventurous side there’s an array of activities to pursue locally. Please note you are completely off grid .

There is no internet or TV so you can have a quiet getaway where you can forget the stresses of life & relax. We are on the Kauaeranga Valley Rd close to all the walking tracks, so if you are wanting to walk the tracks during the day & stay with us at night the cabin would be perfect for you.

The studio is fitted with Air conditioning a microwave, jug, toaster, 32inch smart TV, fridge/freezer etc. FREE WIFI. The bathroom has toilet, basin with great shower and plenty of hot water. No sound or sight of traffic here and low light pollution in the village provides front seat tickets to galaxy granduer. Whangamata is only 12kms drive if you would like to eat out. Accommodation is downstairs with your personal entrance. Double bedroom with queen bed, lounge/kitchenette, laundry/bathroom. Comfortable and clean.

We have two buses side by side for group bookings for four or more people just open now for Xmas period. This private wee campsite has all the amenities for friends or family looking for privacy this summer. Beautifully surrounded by nature,the river and sea are right here on your doorstep. Cathedral Cove and Hot Water beach are just over the hill and all the Coromandel activities are within an hours drive.
