Hawthorne is a 2-hour drive from NYC or a 2-hour Amtrak ride from Penn Station to Hudson, and then a 20 minute drive by car or taxi. Escape to Germantown, explore the farm’s 200-acres and visit the horses. they love carrots and visitors! Bright and airy open floor plan loft in Germantown, NY. Once an apple storage barn, this recently remodeled loft features two bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, beautiful original pine floors, gas fireplace, central air, cook’s kitchen, and a large outdoor deck overlooking open fields and a pond. We are dog friendly up to 2 dogs. There is a $50.00 fee per dog. NO CATS.

Copake Lake Cottage Near Hiking and Waterfalls

Renovated, art-filled cottage just 500 ft from Copake Lake. This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house is also close to hiking trails, waterfalls, apple picking, & a winery in the fall, and in winter, there’s skiing at Catamount, and a distillery nearby. A house for all seasons! Please note the house is 5 houses back and across a quiet road from the lake, and the dock is in the lake from the beginning of May to mid-September. But there is plenty to do up here during the rest of the year!

For nature lovers, explore the area with hikes on local trails or on a kayak down the river. We are 5miles from the Hudson River Skywalk, Olana and Thomas Cole. We are 3.9miles to Warren Street where you can enjoy a full day of shopping, spa and food. The Catskills has much to offer. The cottage is in the perfect area to enjoy it all year round!

When we do not have friends & family visiting, we are offering this space to you! We are architects by training and have placed our aesthetic energy in making this unit modern but also cozy.
