Tasseltop Cottage in Sugar Hill

Our guest house, affectionately known as the “shanty” is located in a very private setting on our property in Sugar Hill. We are located about 25 minutes from the Brenton Woods Ski area and also Loon Mountain ski area. Cannon Mountain is about a 15 minute drive. Our property abuts the Toad Hill Farm wedding venue and is a 5 minutes from the cottage. The Bishop Farm wedding venue is about 12 minutes away. Pinestead Farm Lodge, unit 3, "Loom Rooms"

Pinestead is one of NH's oldest working family farms, with roots going back to 1793. The Loom Rooms is one of 4 private guest units within our 1852 farmhouse. Named for the room where generations of women in our family worked at the loom, weaving linens for the beds, rugs & other household necessities. Pinestead is simple, rustic & imperfect—not a polished “farmhouse-style” getaway. Old floors creak, sound travels & farm life varies with the season. Read on to see if it's your kind of place!

The house sleeps 12 and has plenty of space for cooking, dining and just hanging out after spending a great day hiking on the surrounding beautiful mountains, mountain biking, swimming in the lake or playing golf.
