Die Derde Bedryf - Self Catering Cottage

This small cottage consists of a front room with double bed, one bedside table that can double as office space, two wingback chairs for relaxing, a round table that seats 4 people. The kitchenette provides the basic needs for catering. Out of the open plan front room, you enter the second bedroom with two single beds. Enter the spacious bathroom from this room. This is ideal for a family, but could lack some privacy, for strangers sharing. (In this case we suggest booking the six sleeper, also available from Die Derde Bedryf.)

On The Beach is literally on the 14km white sand beach of Struisbaai, at the Southern Tip of Africa. Step out onto the beach, to swim, surf, walk, play, kitesurf - and enjoy the many activities that the Southern Tip of Africa has to offer. Enjoy drinks around one of two fire pits, or enjoy a South African "braai" (bbq). Fall asleep with the sound of the ocean and enjoy the whales that seasonally visit. This light and airy family holiday home has a relaxed open plan dining/living area with built-in braai/barbecue and bar. This is ideal for lazy summers and cool winters. The fully fitted and equipped kitchen invites one to cook up a storm. There are 3 bedrooms leading off the living area. Main bedroom with queen bed and en-suite shower, basin, toilet. 2nd bedroom has twin beds. 3rd bedroom has a double bed. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with bath (hand shower), basin and toilet.

The unique stone fisherman's cottage - with modern finishings - is the ideal getaway for families, friends or honeymooners. Apart from a private hot tub your stay will offer a cozy indoor fireplace and lovely seaviews from the deck and upstairs lounge. There is an enclosed yard. The two bedroom cottage is located walking distance from the beach, restaurants, shops and the L'Aghulhas lighthouse.

Beach house meets farmhouse, newly built in 2018, where industrial design blends with earthy materials and the natural landscape around you. The house has three porches and was purposefully built to enjoy the Overberg views in every direction. The house is spacious, private and tranquil while still being only 2 minutes away from the shops in town. Stroll down to “Meelmuis” deli for a coffee and panini. Things to do: Bring your MTBs, surfboards, kayaks and walking shoes.

Oriental Pioneer Penthouse

Guests will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located stay, situated in front of the final resting place of the Oriental Pioneer shipwreck on Northumberland point. This penthouse offers 180 degrees views of the seafront and are situated a mere 100m from the beach and within a short walk to the harbour and shops. Fully equipped kitchen, lots of dining room space and an indoor and outdoor braai. Perfect to relax from it all.

Cape Creek Cottage | Games room & Pet friendly

Cape Creek Cottage is a spacious retreat for families and groups in a secure Struisbaai estate. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement and at an extra cost per pet. The main house has 4 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a lounge with a fireplace and TV. Three private cottages with en suites, a courtyard with a braai pergola, and a games room with pool, table tennis, darts, and a cinema loft complete the home—just 5 minutes from the beach.
