Dundrie Cottage is comfortable & homely , with everything you need for a relaxing stay in Stratford . We have a spacious kitchen / diner which also has an area to chill out and watch TV . The sitting room is comfortable & cosy with sofas a fire and a TV , a lovely place to unwind. There is a pretty garden which is private and sheltered . We have four bedrooms , one king size bed with en-suite , two doubles and one single and a second bathroom . There is parking for two cars on the drive .

It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

A large open plan living-dining-kitchen area makes it an ideal retreat for a family or group of friends. This delightful charismatic late eighteenth century property situated right in the centre of Stratford-Upon-Avon, a 3 minute walk to the town centre and Shakespeare's birthplace, and a 10 minute walk to the Royal Shakespear Theatre. It comes with complimentary parking in a car park which is an 8 minute walk. It can accomodate a total of 8. The property has a bathroom with a freestanding bath and also an ensuite toilet/shower room. The staircase to the top 2 bedrooms is quite narrow and steep.

Built in 1481 the house is recognised as the oldest house in Stratford-upon-Avon and many original features remain including two 16th century wall paintings.
